Established in 2017, Freewheelin is a Birmingham based inclusive dance group that caters for disabled and non-disabled dancers. Freewheelin currently runs weekly in person and online classes which are open to all: any age, ability or experience. We also deliver private lessons, inclusive wedding first dance classes, competition and performance rehearsals.

Freewheelin specialises in Wheelchair Dance Sport and regular takes part in National competitions, with members of our group currently on the Team GB squad.

Are dance classes are fully integrated and we deliver standing and seated versions of our dance routines so everyone is included. So whether you have a physical disability, are neurodiverse, have a mental health condition or medical condition which effects your mobility or no disability, everyone is welcome!

Our community and online dance classes cover a variety of dance styles from Ballet, street and contemporary to ballroom and latin dances. Our dancers attend Freewheelin classes for different reasons: some want to have fun and make new friends, others want to get fit, to try something new, to learn a new skill, to continue to develop their dancing or to perform and compete in National and International competitions. Freewheelin provides it all.
